Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Quaneuron collects, what it does not collect, and how we use and protect information when you use the Quaneuron application, APIs, and related services (the "Service"). If you have questions, contact hello@quaneuron.com.
We do not capture prompts or completions
Quaneuron never stores your prompts or model outputs. We track cost, latency, errors, and patterns — not your data. Our goal is visibility into behavior and cost, not content.
1) Summary
Quaneuron is designed to help teams understand AI usage without collecting sensitive content.
We do collect:
- Operational metrics (cost estimates, token counts, latency, error rates, usage patterns)
- Event metadata (timestamps, environment tags, workflow/route labels, model/provider names, status indicators)
- Account and workspace info (name, email, team/workspace details, billing info if applicable)
We do not collect:
- Prompts or user inputs sent to AI models
- Completions or model outputs
- Raw documents, files, or source content
- Message bodies or generated text
2) What we collect
a) Operational and usage data
To provide the Service, we collect operational metadata such as cost estimates and usage totals, token counts, latency and performance timing, error rates and status indicators, timestamps, environment tags (e.g. prod, staging), workflow/route/feature labels, and model and provider identifiers. This data powers dashboards, reports, alerts, and analysis inside Quaneuron.
b) Account and workspace information
When you create an account or workspace, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Workspace and user configuration
- Authentication and access control data
- Billing and payment information (if you are on a paid plan)
Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. We do not store full credit card numbers ourselves.
c) Support and communications
If you contact us, we may store your contact details, the contents of your message, and our replies and support history. This is used only to provide support and improve the Service.
3) What we do NOT collect
Quaneuron is explicitly designed to avoid collecting sensitive content by default.
We do not collect or store:
- Prompts or messages sent to AI models
- Model completions or generated outputs
- Raw text, documents, images, or files processed by your AI features
- Application-level business data from your users
If this ever changes for a specific optional feature, we will clearly disclose it before you enable it.
4) How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Display dashboards, metrics, and reports
- Improve performance, reliability, and usability
- Secure the Service and prevent abuse
- Communicate with you about the Service, updates, or support
- Handle billing and account management (if applicable)
We do not sell your data.
5) How data is shared
- Within your workspace: Access is limited to users you authorize.
- With service providers: We use trusted vendors for infrastructure, hosting, analytics, and billing. They only receive data necessary to provide their services.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process.
- Business changes: If Quaneuron is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
For partner, accelerator, or investor reporting, sharing is typically based on aggregates and trends — not raw event streams — and you control what is shared.
6) Data retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal or accounting requirements, and maintain security and auditability. Specific schedules:
- AI event data — retained for the period defined by your plan (30 days on Free, 90 days on Starter, 365 days on Growth and above). Events are permanently purged on a rolling basis once the retention window expires.
- Account and profile data — retained while your account is active. On deletion, a 30-day grace period applies before permanent removal; you may cancel the request within that window.
- Billing records — retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations, even after account deletion.
- Security and audit logs — retained for a minimum of 12 months for compliance and incident-investigation purposes.
- Database backups — managed by our infrastructure provider; point-in-time backups are retained for up to 7 days (30 days on paid infrastructure tiers).
You may request deletion of your account or workspace data by contacting hello@quaneuron.com. We will complete confirmed deletion requests within 30 days. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records, security logs).
If you need custom retention policies to match your organisation's requirements, contact us and we'll work with you.
7) Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Access controls and workspace-based permissions
- Logging and monitoring of key actions
- Restricted access to production data
More detail is available on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Quaneuron to reduce risk by collecting less sensitive data in the first place.
8) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
To exercise these rights, contact hello@quaneuron.com.
9) International users
If you use Quaneuron from outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries where our servers or service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the updated policy.
